mega hog- REDESIGN

hey there all.

sometime back i drew a illio of sonic as a mega-man-ish character. it turned out well and i was happy with it. looking at it now well... i could've done better with sonic. he looks like i just drew lines on his body and said "look he's part machine now."

so i did a little redesign of the true blue and gave him a more sleeker build. i also did some thinking about how he'll function too and here's a couple.

1) the armor- for the purists out there, sonic doesn't become a robot. he's actually a cyborg. after the fight with the terror, sonic was bang up pretty bad. he was basically a head and torso until he receive the cybernetic enhancements that eventually saved his life. the armor is attachable and could sustain any blow sonic could take

2) power source- to keep him alive, sonic has to use powers rings as a fuel source. the generator, which replaced his heart, can absorb the ring's power and can keep sonic alive for a good week. this tend to be a bit tedious in case he has to go on adventures far away from home.

3) arm cannon- both sonic's arm can transform into arm cannons. nothing much to say on that.

4) speed- sonic can not only go his regular speed as he use to, but can go twice as fast. his prosthetic legs have built in boosters for speed and jumping abilities.
